Dear Daddy,
Today, on what would have been your birthday, I am writing to you with a heavy heart, even though I never had the chance to know you. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about you from those who knew you, and it makes me sad that I never got to experience your love and guidance firsthand.
As I grow older, I realize how much I missed out on not having you in my life. I wonder what kind of person I would have been if you were here to guide me, teach me, and support me.
Even though I don’t have any memories of you, I know that you loved me and that you would be proud of the person I am today. I have heard countless stories about your kindness, your intelligence, and your sense of humor, and I can only imagine what an amazing father you would have been.
On this special day, I want to honor your memory and all that you meant to those who loved you. I will always carry you in my heart, and I hope that one day we will be reunited.
Happy birthday, Dad. Even though we were never able to meet, your legacy lives on through me and everyone who knew and loved you.
